The project, which will be organised in collaboration with the local Delegation of Education, will take place in a school. It consists in painting and cleaning the rooms and the surrounding area. In the work a technical coordinator will organise the work programme and will lead the volunteers. The general organisation of the workcamp will be done by another camp leader.
Location:
Safi is a beautiful town (400.000 residents) situated on the Atlantic coast. This town is well known for its pottery, its monuments and nice beach. The climate is normally hot in summer however warm clothes are advised to be used in fresh nights. Safi is about 150 km away from Marrakech, 250 km from Casablanca and 350 km from Rabat.
Accommodation:
The volunteers will be lodged in the centre itself. The meals will be prepared by the volunteers themselves (2 or 3 volunteers per day).
Participation fees:
50 Euros are asked to volunteers on arrival to help us to pay the preparation and organisation of the workcamp and general costs of JEC.

A technical ccordinator will organise the work programme and lead the volunteers. The general organisation of the workcamp will be managed by another campleader.

Work: The work consists of laying out, a gardening and painting the classrooms in Sonacid a primary school. The duration of work is 5 hours a day. The work will be going hand in hand with other activities which will be undertaken by the volunteers themselves: outings, family visits, cultural entertainment, sports, visits historic monuments etc. Location: Selouane is existing in an industrial zone and situated at 11 Km to the South of Nador . It is a region rich in agriculture, and considered as the background country of Nador. Partner: "chantiers jeunesse Maroc" is organizing a workcamp with the collaboration of the delegation of Ministry of education in Nador. Requirements: CJM fee 45 euros to be paid by volunteer on arrival. Accomodation and food: Lodging: The volunteers will be lodging in "Sonacid " primary school.Meals: will be prepared by volunteers. Activities: You will also have to bring with you working clothes, a sleeping bag, and anything which could contribute to the good progress of the workcamp (game sets, musical instruments, cooking recipe, etc...).
“Chantiers Jeunesse Maroc” will organise this workcamp in collaboration with the Delegation of the Ministry of Education in Fahs Anjra.
Work:
The work consists of painting, creating frescoes and gardening at the school Groupe Scolaire Nouinouich at Commune Bahraouiyine. The duration of the work will be of 5 hours a day.
Location:
Tangiers is a very ancient Moroccan city. Its situation at the extreme north of Africa, at the Strait of Gibraltar has made of it for a long time the gate to Morocco. Commune Bahraouiyine is about 12 km east of Tangiers.
Leisure Activities:
This will give you an interesting opportunity to discover the cultural reality and the habits of the local population.
Accommodation:
Volunteers will be lodged at Groupe scolaire Nouinouich, commune Bahraouiyine, region Fahs Anjra, Tangiers. Meals will be prepared by volunteers.
Participation fee:
45 euros to be paid by the volunteer upon arrival.
Rabat has been designated as the capital of Morocco in the beginning of the last century, but it did not wait till the 20th century to be distinguished as a city. The walls of the city, the huge historical gates, and the Hassan tower are there to remind us of that. The climate is pleasant in the summer. It's known by its nice beaches about 15 km to the south of Rabat.

Chantiers Jeunesse Maroc is organizing a workcamp with the collaboration of Académie Régionale de l’Education et la Formation Région Rabat (Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Region of Rabat) in Sale Zammour Zair.
Work:
Painting classrooms and gardening in Ibn Bassam, a secondary school in Yacoub El Mansour, Rabat. The duration of work will be 5 hours a day.

The volunteers will be lodged in the secondary school. Meals will be prepared by the volunteers.
« I had not appreciated that so few people come out in the East Asian countries that my telling them was something extraordinary. This was also the most interesting aspect of the workcamp in terms of trying to expand the awareness of other ways of living, and there was never any hostility or problems because of it. »
