DESCRIPTION OF WORK:Control and removal of alien species.Repair and maintenance of walls and constructions.Monitoring the environmental setting and fauna.Control and support of visitors. Assistance in the surveillance of the island.Environmental gastronomy.
- COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES - LEISURE ACTIVITIES:
Star-gazing, outdoor training, snorkel, compass orientation, fishing workshops, production of an audiovisual guide, life as a lighthouse keeper.
- ACCOMMODATION/FOOD:
The accommodation and meals will be held at the Pazo de Sálvora, commonly known as 'O Almacén' within the island itself.
- LOCATION:
Sálvora is a small island located on the Ría de Arousa, coast of Galicia, Spain. It belongs to the municipality of Santa Uxía de Ribeira and is integrated in the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park. It is separated from the mainland by a distance of about 3 kilometers to the north. It occupies about 190 hectares and has a maximum height of 71 meters (As Gralleiras). Almost the entire perimeter of the island is rocky but has three beaches of fine white sand. Since 2001 it has been integrated into the Atlantic Islands of Galicia National Park..

- The volunteers compromise themselves to:
- To work disinterestedly the hours stipulated in the labour project of the camp.- To collaborate in the development of the programming of the activities of animation and to take part in the same ones.
- - To contribute to the general organization of the camp in tasks such as:
cleanliness, kitchen, administration, etc.- To respect the different beliefs, ideologies and personal differences of the participants of the field.- To stay at the camp during the programmed period.- To respect the internal rules (teamwork, life in community¿)To accept the indications from the persons in charge of the activity; to respect the schedule and not to use private vehicles during the work camp.
