The work of the volunteers will consist of (mainly technical) support of a summer international festival of classical music and youth exchange, which will happen during these days in the little town Buitrago del Lozoya. This will be an intercultural exchange between young musicians who will train and play music together with local youngsters, directly on the streets of the town. At the end, there will be a final concert prepared. Volunteers will have different tasks, as carrying tools, instruments and pre-requests, preparing the final concert, accompanying a group of young musicians (those under 18) from one place to the other, making publicity, etc. Participants of a workcamps will be in direct contact with young musicians and local youngsters and if you play some classical musical instrument, you will be also very welcome to join some of the performances as a musician.
Accommodation:
will be provided probably in a local school of the municipality. It may be necessary to bring a sleeping bag and mat. Volunteers will cook for themselves using the camping gas or local kitchen unless we get some last minute financial support.
