In all workcamps various tasks await you: Waldsassen, the first one, needs your help to prepare the garden for the season 2015, starting on 1st of May. This includes planting herbs, cutting, weeding and so on, but you will also do repair or reconstruction work, e.g. building a house for rabbits and/or chicken. In Irschenberg you will help the organizers of the KidoCup in all phases of the event: You will prepare the accommodation for the guests, set up the sport venue, take care of the guests, supply them with food and drinks as well as take over logistical tasks.Herrenberg participants will help setting up the playground which includes all kinds of work: Setting up the equipment, planting, painting,- You will be supported by professionals who already worked together with IBG workcamps and know how and what to do
Accomodation & food:
In Waldsassen you will be accommodated in a small flat, where you will have a shower and a kitchenette. The environmental garden will also offer you the possibility to cook, so don t worry that there won t be enough space In Irschenberg you will stay in a wooden hut in the children s village with all necessary facilities. Additionally a big tent will be set up for you. One meal a day (lunch) will be provided by the host, breakfast and dinner you will cook by yourselves. The accommodation in Herrenberg is the local youth centre. You will have two rooms for yourselves with camp beds provided. There is a kitchen, toilets and one shower. In the stadium near-by there are more showers which you can use as well.

Requirements:
1) You need to provide a certificate of good conduct2) Experience as campleader, recommendation letter by sending organization, English and German language skills.3) You will get free food and accommodation during the camps. Maximum 150,-euro of your international travel costs and national travel costs directly to the workcamp and back will be paid by IBG. Furthermore you will receive pocket money 60euro a week. During the camps you will be insured, in the days off, we will only provide medical insurance and only if you are not from an EU-country.

During your Medium Term Volunteering (MTV) you will have the possibility to get to know three different regions and organisations of Germany by taking part in three different workcamps.
The first one will take place from 6th till 20th of May 2015 in Irschenberg, Bavaria. Your host is the Caritas-Children’s Village. This year, from 14th – 17th of May, they will be hosting the KidoCup, a big sports event for children and teenagers from Children’s Villages all over Germany. The organizers are very happy to get the help of an international workcamp to realize the KidoCup 2015. For you it is a great chance to get in contact with the children and teenagers participating in this event.
The second workcamp will take place in Herrenberg, Baden-Wurttemberg, from 24th of May to 6th of June. The town of Herrenberg, close to Stuttgart, is looking forward to hosting a workcamp for the first time in 2015! They want to set up a new playground in the city-centre that will include water games, a garden with edible fruits and wooden playground equipment.
The third workcamp in Kell am See, Rhineland-Palatinate (08th – 22nd of June) is set up by the regional youth department which runs an educational centre in this village. The centre offers different environmental educational activities for youth groups and school classes. The centre was just renovated last year and different new outdoor and training facilities were installed. This year you will mainly work in the green area around the centre.

TERMINAL:
There are train stations in Miesbach (your meeting point for the camp in Irschenberg) and Herrenberg. To get to the camp in Kell am See you have to take a train to Trier and from there catch a bus to the campsite.
