Throughout the years, Solidarités Jeunesses has developed a close affiliation with the villagers: organization of festivals, workcamps, cultural evenings… In 2009, we will be organizing our 3rd workcamp there. The villagers would like to maintain the village's tourism appeal by improving the landscape and by creating foot paths around their village. The work will consist of clearing the actual foot paths, (clearing the hedges, removing stones). During the workcamp, the volunteers will take part in the organization of the annual festival of the village.

« The most beautiful thing about volunteering obviously is the people you meet… the helpfulness the understanding…there is always someone who puts a plate of food in front of you if you say you are not hungry and not in the mood, or gives you a pep talk or simply a hug. »
