With the support and assistance of the Medillin Local Government, community and international volunteers will have the chance to engage on the following activities:1.Take part in the manual construction work of the village2.Organization of disaster preparedness advocacy campaigns and activities to schools, etc.3.Undertake environmental related activities like coastal clean-up, tree planting, advocacy, etc.4.Interact with the local children and youth through art, sports and team building activities5.Exchange of culture through music, games, food, language, etc.

The coastal barangay of Kawit, Medillin, Cebu is located in the Northern tip of Cebu Island. It is around 135 kilometers away from Cebu City with a population of about 50,000 people.The town of Medillin is known for its vast scenic sugar plantation, rich mangrove forest, natural white sandy beaches and their famous "Fantastic Island". They offer various eco-tourism activities within the town. The beautiful nearby islands of Bantayan and Malapascua are also perfect diving destinations for diving enthusiasts. During leisure time, volunteers can choose to experience various eco-tourism adventure activities around the northern towns and islands of Cebu. The island is also rich with heritage sites like churches as well as natural mangrove parks and the world famous crystal blue clear sea waters and white sandy beaches.

MTV- Euro 350 for the first month. Additional Euro 300 per month from the second to fifth months
In coordination with the Director of PADS or Program Development Staff, the volunteer will be task to assist Special Education schools to impart Knowledge, skills and attitude as well as Life skills, assist deaf Community Organizing, capacity building of deaf organizations, deaf rights advocacy, deaf education (non-formal and catechism/religion) act as facilitators, secretariat or coordinators for seminars, workshops, deaf camps, events and exhibitions, etc.

It is the center of Catholic Religion that draws millions of Filipinos flocking the City during the month of January to celebrate the Feast of Senior Sto. Nino and the Sinulog festival, which is the most famous Philippine festival.During leisure time, volunteers can choose to visit various cultural heritage sites, eco-tourism adventure activities or head to the nearest pristine white sandy beaches around the island of Cebu.
