The Social Development Centre is a local governmental innovative project where social workers are trained and empowered for community development. The pillars and the roof of the school have fallen apart and the building is no longer conducive for learning or training environment.
Work:
Volunteers, including the students of the institution, will work together to renovate the ancient building. Planks and woods will be used for carpentry works. Part of the collapsed walls will be raised to modern standard.

Iperu Remo, Local Government area of Ogun State.
Travel terminal:
Lagos.
Accommodation:
Volunteers will be provided with school items and local Government dormitory for sleeping.
Orientation:
Volunteers are expected to arrive to Lagos, Nigeria three days prior to the start date for the project for orientation. Fees include food, accomodation, airport pickup and dropoff but not ground transportation to and from the project location.
Local Transportation:
The Association takes the responsibility to collect and return volunteers to the Airport at no extra fees. However, flight details and arrival schedule needs to be communicated to the organization at least two weeks before departure. Other inland transport except on a group journey will be covered by the volunteer.
This is a small village community with dilapidated structures for repair and renovation. The village has about 500 inhabitants and the building needs to be repaired and the fallen down structure to be raised up. The structure is very old with mud made pillars and walls.
Work:
Pulling down the old structure and renovating the pillars and clearing the debris. Mounting the walls from ground level to the roof.

Akaka village is in the Northern part of Ogun State.

Volunteers will be accommodated in a Primary school about 500 meters to the project site.
