Volunteer Abroad > Medium and Long Term Volunteering (1 to 12 months) > What makes you a good M/LTV?

What makes you a good M/LTV?

If you are...

 organised, responsible and well-prepared.
emotionally stable and have a good sense of humour.
open-minded, adaptable and ready to adjust to a different culture.
self-reliant and capable of improvisation when needed.
patient, flexible and able to work in an international team.
willing to learn about other cultures and lifestyles.
committed to sharing your knowledge and skills.

...you will be a great M/LTV...but if you only fulfil some and not all the above criteria, you should still apply, as it is never too late to learn!

Quote of the day

« I think our work has really opened the eyes of the youth there. I think that, because of our presence, some local youths got the chance to learn about other cultures which they wouldn't have otherwise. »
