They have done it! > 2010 > UK

I've led a two weeks Volunteer Action for Peace (VAP) volunteer project which involved working at the Brighton Earthship and generally looking after the volunteers. I've travelled to Palestine and Romania with VAP and I'm going to Portugal with them this summer. If anyone is interested in doing some real volunteering and not paying stupid amounts of money to do it just visit their website or drop them an e-mail.

Quote of the day

« I would recommend participating in a workcamp, especially with VAP, who ensured that I found a project to suit me and provided essential training for me in preparation for my trip. Being part of a workcamp really is a life-changing experience, oh, and it looks great on your CV! »
