Red Tinku is a volunteer organization, was formed in 1998 by university students, farmers and unemployed youth. That diversity, coupled with his self-managed work has allowed him to become a leader in the social and cultural movement in Bolivia. Since 2007 he has been linked to international volunteering and is currently in the task of promoting the culture of volunteering in Bolivia. Works on human rights, environment, youth leadership, culture, communication and popular education as a tool for social transformation.
Work:
The volunteers accompany the process of institutional coordination to support the work of International Volunteer in the office and visiting the various urban and rural projects. Also support the social, cultural and educational Tinku Network with other local volunteers and groups. Participate in strengthening communication networks (Web, facebook, newsletters, etc).
Accommodation:
Volunteers will be accommodated in a house in the city of Cochabamba. The property is collective.
Location:
Cochabamba City, Bolivia
Requirements:
Willingness to work as a team and an acceptable level of Spanish. Forward to sharing and interaction. All volunteers must have medical insurance. Upon arrival, volunteers must attend a seminar on the social, cultural and political life of Bolivia.
Participation fee:
80 Euros per month covering accommodation. The food is paid by the volunteer.
