Coffee is the central part of the life of the inhabitants of Pilateño and therefore is a very important issue for the local ecotourism project. During the workcamp volunteers will know how life develops around this crop. Work:
Take part in the activities of the handcraft workshop. Help in the recording of Nahuatl folk stories.
Study part:
Coffee and global economy.
Location:
Pilateño, Xilitla, San Luis Potosí.
Accommodation:
With the families taking part in the project for the first week and in the guest house of the project in the next two weeks.
Language (required): Spanish. Náhuatl is welcomed.
Participation fee:
210 euros to be paid upon arrival. The fee includes 3 weeks lodging, food and material for activities. Local transportation.
