5TH ANNUAL CONCORD WORKCAMP. Volunteers will work with American vols from local schools, churches and organizations on numerous community projects over the course of the two weeks. These projects will include working side by side with counselors at the Audubon Society's Childrens Summer Day Camp. Activities involve assisting with outdoor adventures, games, crafts, stories and environmental education in a beautiful forest setting. In addition, the International Volunteers will work with American volunteers conducting landscape and maintenance work at the Unitarian Universalist Church where the international volunteers will be housed.
Study part:
Peace in the tradition of Gandhi and Martin Luther King and also by living, working and enjoying cultural and outdoor activities as one cohesive group.

Location:
Concord, New Hampshire, the state capital but has the feel of a small New England town. Local artists will conduct evening workshops on peace poetry, drumming and songs in an attempt to open dialogue around peace related issues. A full cultural itinerary includes hiking, yoga and swimming.
