Solidarités Jeunesses Vietnam
Solidarites Jeunesses Vietnam is an independent, non professional and non profit youth voluntary organisation managed by the volunteers themselves, working towards a society of justice, peace, human solidarity and active citizenship open to all without any distinction of nationality, education, sex, religion or philosophy.
We send young Vietnamese volunteers on voluntary projects abroad and we receive young international volunteers on our workcamp in Vietnam.
Solidarités Jeunesses Vietnam operates through a network of national non-profit organizations and partner organizations in Europe, The Middle East, Africa, Asia and America.
It organises short and long-term international workcamps, actions of social integration, training activities, international solidarity actions and plans to run a small youth center in Hanoi in 2006.
Through these actions Solidarites Jeunesses Vietnam aims to promote:
- The voluntary participation of all, particularly young people and those in socially disadvantaged situations, in local, national and international life.
- Local development that takes into concern the needs of the individual, environment and cultural heritage.
- The breaking down of barriers between generations, cultures and nations.
- A concrete construction of peace.
Solidarités Jeunesses Vietnam mobilises youth themselves to bring the values of tolerance and respect for all human beings without any political or ideological cleavage. The management of the organization and all our activities are open to all youg people without any discrimination: we select our volunteers only on base of their motivation. For each activity, national or international, we try to keep costs as low as possible to be accessible to everybody.
- In 2012 VAP has:
- 18 project(s) with Solidarités Jeunesses Vietnam in Vietnam
