Safi is a beautiful town (400.000 residents) situated on the Atlantic Ocean ; this town is well known for its pottery, its monuments and nice beach. The climate is normally hot in summer however warm closes are advised to be used in fresh nights. Safi is about 150km away from Marrakech, 250 km from Casablanca and 350 from Rabat.
Project:
The project, which will be organized in collaboration with the local delegation of education, will take place in a school; it consists in painting and cleaning the rooms and the surrounding area. In the work a technician animator will organize the work programme and will lead the volunteers. The general organization of the workcamp will be done by another camp leader.
Accommodation:
The volunteers will be lodged in the centre itself. The meals will be prepared by the volunteers themselves (2 or 3 times a day).
Participation fees:
50 Euros are asked to volunteers on arrival to help us to pay the preparation and organisation of the workcamp and general costs of JEC.
