The project, which will be organised in collaboration with the local Delegation of Education, will take place in a school. It consists in painting and cleaning the rooms and the surrounding area. In the work a technical coordinator will organise the work programme and will lead the volunteers. The general organisation of the workcamp will be done by another camp leader.
Location:
Safi is a beautiful town (400.000 residents) situated on the Atlantic coast. This town is well known for its pottery, its monuments and nice beach. The climate is normally hot in summer however warm clothes are advised to be used in fresh nights. Safi is about 150 km away from Marrakech, 250 km from Casablanca and 350 km from Rabat.
Accommodation:
The volunteers will be lodged in the centre itself. The meals will be prepared by the volunteers themselves (2 or 3 volunteers per day).
Participation fees:
50 Euros are asked to volunteers on arrival to help us to pay the preparation and organisation of the workcamp and general costs of JEC.

A technical ccordinator will organise the work programme and lead the volunteers. The general organisation of the workcamp will be managed by another campleader.

The climate is normally hot in summer however warm clothes are advised to be used in some fresh nights. Essaouira is about 370 km south from Casablanca and 470 km south from Rabat.

The volunteers will be lodged in the centre. The food will be prepared by the volunteers themselves (2 or 3 volunteers per day).

This year we organise two workcamps in Salé which will include some maintenance works in a local school, preparing a field to create a garden.
Accommodation:
In the school. Please bring a sleeping bag and working clothes. Meals and all housework will be done by the volunteers in teams. The showers are with cold water.
Location:
Salé was a town of corsairs, and it is only 2 km from the capital Rabat, on the Atlantic coast, both cities being separated by the river Bouregreg. Salé is known by its old town, traditional markets and sites related with its corsair past.
Participation Fee:
The volunteers should pay 40 Euros to ACJ upon arrival in the workcamp.
Tangiers is an ancient Moroccan city. Its situation at the extreme North of Africa by the Gibraltar detroit has made of it for a long time the gate to Morocco. Jouamaa (Hakkama) is about 18 km east of Tangiers.
Chantiers Jeunesse Maroc will organise a workcamp in collaboration with the delegation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports at Fahs Anjra region.
Work:
The work consists of painting, creating frescos and gardening in “Maison des Jeunes 16 novembre” Youth House. The duration of work is 5 hours a day.
Accommodation:
Volunteers will be lodged in “Maison des jeunes 16 Novembre” Youth House, commune of Jouamaa, Hakkama; Fahs Anjra region, Tangiers. Meals will be prepared by volunteers.
Marrakech is one of the imperial cities of Morocco and the country was named after the city of Marrakech. Marrakech benefits from an exceptional geographical location. It is close to the high Atlas Mountains and at the same time not too far from the Atlantic coast (100 km away). It is known mainly through its legendary Jemaa El Fna Square but there is a lot more to be seen in Marrakech itself and in its surroundings.

The project consists of gardening and cleaning in El Aouda Saadia secondary school. The duration of work will be 5 hours a day. The work will be going hand in hand with other activities which will be undertaken by the volunteers themselves, such as outings, family visits, cultural entertainment.
Accommodation:
Volunteers will be lodged in the boarding school “Internat Lycée El Aouda Saadia”, Bab Ailane, Médina. As far as food is concerned meals will be prepared by the volunteers.
Founded in 1476, Chefchaouen is a small town located in the Rif province at 60 km to the south of Tetouan, not far from the Mediterranean coast. The area is favourable to cultivate fruit trees and goat breeding. The province of Chefchaouen has a very distinguished craft industry vocation. It will be an opportunity for you to discover cultural realities and habits of the local population.

Boulmane is a small town situated in the middle Atlas at 85 kms to the southeast of Fès. It is famous for its snowfalls during winter and mild temperatures in the summer. The middle Atlas big summits - Michlifen, Hibri and Habri are at analtitude of 2000 m. The area is also covered with tremendous forests. It is known by its panoramic natural view and authentic monuments - Ksour Ifkern at 1700m alt.

Kénitra was founded in 1913 and it is situated at 40 km north of Rabat. It has population of 450.000 inhabitants. It is situated at the Atlantic coast in the Gharb plains.
