The Cotzaselch cooperative has organized several international workcamps last year with very interesting and rich exchange experiences. The cooperative is a lasting project to the benefit of the hosting center Ha O Mek Ka. With its workshops of traditional jewelry shop, its experimental agro-ecological farm (horticulture, composting, coffee planting, medicinal plants, etc) the cooperative develops projects of sustainable development in total agreement with the nature.
The volunteers will carry out works of agriculture - Earth preparation, as well as works of construction and will rehabilitate several of the cabins in the community Ha O Mek Ka. The volunteers will have the opportunity to carry out diverse manual works of horticulture, compost, lombriculture among others. Volunteers will also have the chance to harvest coffee in the centre.

The community of Agua Dulce (Sweet Water) has hosted an international group last year and is very keen to renew the experience. The volunteer will do reforestation work, will help the community with some renovation tasks in the village and organize workshops with the local population, particularly the children and the youth concerning the protection of the environment and a cleaning campaign. During two days, the volunteers will go to the Boca del Cielo beach to do some work with the sea turtles in order for the to be aware about the situation with this animal species and the danger they face if they are not protected.
