Our partner will organize the first English-speaking summer camp for children in the ages of 8-14 years old and need hardworking, active, trustworthy, flexible, healthy, creative, funny and enthusiastic volunteers to facilitate organizers in daily activities of the camp. The aim of the project is to enable children to improve their communication skills and knowledge of English through the “Living Language Program”, developing strong and lasting friendships and enjoying numerous leisure activities, such as sports, dancing, crafts, theatre, camping, photo club, music club etc.
WORK:
Volunteers are expected to be present in the camp all the time that is why the work will be mixed with their leisure activities and working hours are not fixed. Children will be divided into groups of 6 and each group will have its own tutor (staff). Volunteers would be asked to join every activity and communicate with the children in English, run their own English lessons in the form of games, organize sports competitions and help in other activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Fluent English; ability to work with children. Volunteers are expected to be interested in sports and nature, and have creative ideas about educative entertainment. Alcohol consumption and smoking are not allowed in the camp.
ACCOMMODATION:
Volunteers live in a castle together with the staff and the children. Rooms are equipped with all facilities. Beds and sheets will be provided. Meals will be served in a canteen. Volunteers will be also provided with a lovely uniform.

Truskavets (Lviv region) is the world famous unique balneological resort with wonderful nature, mineral waters by the Carpathian mountains, 100 km form Lviv – one of the three “worth seeing” cities in Ukraine according to the world travel guides.
LEISURE ACTIVITIES:
Volunteers will participate in all leisure activities and excursions with children according to the camp programme.
MEETING POINT:
Lviv or directly in Truskavets. Detailed information and maps will come with the information sheet no later then 3 weeks before the project starting date.
