This camp is preferably aimed at volunteers who have already been on a workcamp once or various times but never as a leader. Training will be given in areas such as intercultural exchanges, group leading, finances, conflict resolution, and group games.
Accommodation:
In 2-3 bedded rooms with toilet and shower. Sleeping bag and mat are not necessary. Food will be supplied at the campsite.
Location:
Sakran is by the Aegean Sea, in the west of Turkey. The closest city is Izmir.
Terminal:
Istanbul.
Special requirements:
A motivation letter should be supplied together with the application form. A certificate will be given to the participants at the end of the work camp.
Hosting Fee:
Volunteers should pay 175 EUR to Genctur on their arrival at Istanbul. This fee will cover accommodation and food during the project.
