GENÇTUR is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2009 and will host a big party with past, present and future volunteers. Volunteers who can play a portable instrument are welcome to be on the stage with the "Volunteer Orchestra". Volunteers will performe with 7-8 local and international songs before the party starts. The motto of the concert will be "Meeting of the dissimilarities". Rehearsals will be done during the camp and the performance is on the 8th of May.

Young people from different countries are invited to create a "group film" in a youth center. Participants from 14-17 age group, will use their creativity to express their ideas to write their scenario, act, shoot and direct their films in this camp. Besides, the daily program of the camp may consists of different activities like sport, handicrafts, creative drama, music, fine arts, etc. Some days are reserved for trekking and sight seeing tours. In the camp, international volunteers will be leading or assisting the daily activities. Afacan Youth Center is a place where GENCTUR hosts various voluntary and youth camps. www.afacan.info

Yenisakran is in the west of Turkey. The center is by the seaside. The nearest city is Izmir.

Volunteers will be involved in landscaping activities by the lake.

Tatvan is in the east of Turkey, by Van Lake. The nearest cities are Bitlis & Van. The project will start in Istanbul with a compulsory orientation meeting that all volunteers should attend on the first day of the camp.
