Vallens Kretsloppsskola is an environmental educative centre located in a beautiful scenary, 35 km from Luleå, a city very near the Arctic Circle and the North Pole. Midnight sun will last the whole camp. A minibus will transport volunteers from the city of Luleå to the camp locations.
Work:
Half work and half studies. The aim of the camp is to learn, discuss and exchange perspectives about honour violence and human rights. The work consists of painting, making sculptures, dancing and role-playing games about thoughts after discussions, lectures, films and workshops.
Study Theme:
Honour violence, human rights, identity, gender equality, conflict resolution, social movements and inner contact.
Accommodation:
Ten double rooms, toilets and showers. Food will be prepared by the volunteers. Bring towel and sheets. The camp is unfortunately not accessible for wheel chairs.
