DESCRIPTION OF WORK:The work will be carried out in the 'Residencia de la 3ª Edad' (residential home for the elderly) La Florida, a socio-sanitary centre devoted to the integral care for the elderly.Their participation will stimulate interpersonal relationships, affections and dialogue through a series of group activities aimed at favouring socialization and at avoiding isolation of the elderly.Carrying out joint activities of a festive character (parties, workshops, excursions, etc.) has a positive impact on the relationships between residents and volunteers. These activities will be carried out both indoors and outdoors.
- Indoor activities:
they foster stimulation, conversation groups, parties, table games, petanque, skittles, etc.
- Outdoor activities:
two visits to the city (one cultural, one to the beach) and walks around the area where the Centre is located.Given the circumstances of old people, this programme will be a flexible one.Under no circumstance will medical asssitance actitivities be carried out.
COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES - LEISURE ACTIVITIES:
- Excursions and visits- Workshops and training and leisure activities, etc.- Evening activities, group dynamics, sports activities, games, etc.These activities will be coordinated by a team of entertainment professionals.It will present a plan of cultural and leisure, to be developed by volunteers during evenings and weekends which will complement the voluntary work.

Accommodation and meals for the group will be provided at the Albergue-Residencia La Florida.The Centre has all the necessary facilities, such as kitchen, dining hall, single bedrooms, hot-water showers, leisure areas, etc. Food is prepared on site, by professional cooks

In this workcamp, due to the characteristics of the work, participants must possess a high level of Spanish. Participants must send a motivation letter in Spanish.You must work unselfishly according to the work planning of the workcamp, five days a week.You must cooperate to carry out all the entertainment activities programmed, and participate in the said activities.You must contribute to the general organization of the camp, in its regular tasks: cleaning, cooking, administration, etc. You must respect the different beliefs, ideologies and opinions of all participants in the workcamp.You must stay in the Workcamp from beginning to end of the programme. The technical work will be carried out especially in the morning and consist in localization and documentation of the municipality's medieval heritage. The documentation will be recorded within some field sheets with photo and GPS/archaeological drawings. This work will be complemented by a dissemination task to inform the villagers about the work that has been done. This diffusion will consist in guided and theatrical tours or presentations in order to make the Peramola's inhabitants aware of their patrimony.

In the farmhouse "La Masia", in double rooms equipped with mattresses, pillows, blankets and wardrobes. The farmhouse has full equipped kitchen, dinner room and bathrooms.
