Volunteers will work outside of the city in the University educational sport Center for students )Yagodnoei (100 km from St. Petersburg). Volunteers will be asked to implement following tasks:- to collect and separate garbage in the touristic area near the Center; - to clean campfires in touristic places; - to organize non-formal education ecological activities for tourists; - to pave hiking paths; - to gather information about and create maps of places where garbage is accumulated- to renovate the CenterVolunteers will take part in lectures on medicinal plants and ecological features of garbage collection. In addition, volunteers will take part in lectures on furniture painting, upcycling, woodworking.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will live in wooden houses in rooms for 2-4 persons. Showers and toilets will be in separate houses. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided in the canteen (Russian traditional food). Setting up a permaculture garden. Cosmetic repair in the main building of the Forest School. Repair of roofs in guest houses of the Forest School. Assembling of a log house for a banya. Haymaking. Taking care of the cattle. Cleaning an unauthorized landfill in the forest.
Accomodation & food:
Accommodation in tents on the banks of the river and in guest houses of the Forest School. The food is organized: the cooks prepare food, and the participants are helping in the kitchen in turns.The menu in the camp is vegetarian.
Location & leisure:
In the first half of the day, volunteers are helping the villagers, and in the second part - master classes, seminars, lectures, trainings dedicated to environmental and nature protection topics, healthy lifestyle, history and culture of the village.In the evening - sports activities, table games, yoga and dancing, music and theater evenings, games and quests.

Interest in environmental topics.During the camp, alcohol and other intoxicants are forbidden.
Volunteers will - build and maintain vegetable patches according to permaculture principles - work in the garden - work with the local kids: provide educational and cultural activities - collect wild berries and herbs, and make tea out of them - help to organize and celebrate the village day (logistics, organizing workshops, presenting your culture, language lessons, cooking traditional food, etc.) Volunteers will get a chance to learn more about permaculture, the biggest bog system in Europe and will have an opportunity to test themselves as ecological educators for local children.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will be accommodated in a private, fully-equipped house with kitchen and bathroom, and a washing machine. The toilet is an outhouse. There will be a possibility to visit a traditional Russian banya. Food will be cooked by the volunteers in accordance with a cooking schedule. The internet connection is also available.
Location & leisure:
Tsevlo village. It is a really small village, situated 200 km away from Pskov and 300 km (which is not far for Russia and 61514; ) from Novgorod the Great. Both Pskov and Novgorod are ancient Russian cities that are definitely worth visiting. Volunteers will be met at the station Sushchevo (village Bezhanitsy). (to get there, you should take a train from Moscow or St.Petersburg)
Requirements:
Participants should be motivated to work with children and be able to entertain them. They also should be interested in permaculture and gardening. There will be a short Skype interview before the project just to make sure a volunteer understands aims and objectives of the camp.
The project is organized to gain experience of natural rural life. Work will depend on volunteers interest and weather conditions: haymaking, working in the permaculture garden, picking berries in the forest and harvesting herbal teas, caring for animals (horse, cow, goats, chickens), cooking dairy products, helping in repairing outbuildings and houses.

In the village houses. Composting toilets in each house, a common banya, summer street cabins for camping showers, a river, cooking in a kitchen house in turns.
Location & leisure:
Walks in the forest with a forest guide, swimming in the river, Russian banya, folk games, songs, dances, workshop about wild edible plants, a trip to a neighbouring village to a local museum, an acquaintance with a local boatman, a tour of the village, a wide a range of lectures on the topic of traditional culture, ecology, rural life. Culinary master classes are also possible.

Volunteers will support the museum staff in maintaining the grove. They are expected to: - cut dead branches - saw fallen trees - take branches to dump - tidy up the grove - cut grassStudy Theme: Volunteers will learn more about Pushkin and his life at this place, and as a result, a great deal about Russian culture, as Pushkin is considered a national treasure.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers are going to stay in a comfortable guest house, equipped with shared bathroom facilities. Bed linen is provided. There is a washing machine and a traditional Russian sauna. Food will be cooked by the volunteers in the kitchen facilities, according to the cooking schedule. There is no WiFi in the guesthouse, but there is an available internet connection in the museum.

Boldino village, Nizhegorodskaya oblastThere is an equipped sports ground and a lake for swimming. During the free time, the volunteers will be taken to a guided tour around the museum, and have a chance to try pottery. Also there is an opportunity to visit Nizhny Novgorod during the weekend.
