Work: Educational and cultural work in junior voluntary summer camp, where will be 20 Russian participants 14-17 year old. International volunteers will conduct master-classes in foreign languages (English) and will be involved in the cultural life of the camp. The main aim of the project is to inform Russian volunteers (pupils) about traditions, lifestyle of different countries. This project will contribute to developing of tolerance and their mental outlook. Moreover the project will help international volunteers to get to know more about Russian culture, traditions, how people live in villages and small towns and to learn Russian a little.
Accomodation & food:
Accommodation: Volunteers will live in junior school where will be a bedroom for them. There is a toilet and bathroom. Food: 3 times a day: breakfast, dinner and supper will be organized at school.

Location: Medvezhiegorsk is formerly known as Medvezhiya Gora or Bear Mount. is a small city in the Republic of Karelia. It is situated on the bank of Onega lake 158 km from Petrozavodsk, the capital of the Republic. Medvezhiegorsk is famous for its wonderful nature, diverse landscape and fresh air because of pines and fir trees. Transportation: The nearest terminal is in Saint-Petersburg, from Saint-Petersburg you can come to Petrozavodsk by train (time spent traveling -7-8 hour ) or by bus, then by train or bus to Medvezhjegorsk.Free time activities: Excursions: Fabric Zaonezhskaya embroidery , Finnish fortification - where was the Second World War took place, Regional museum of Medviezhigorsk, Railway museum of Medviezhegorsk , Excursion round the town, A trip to Sandarmokh - Belomoro-Baltic channel - church of Saint Nikola in Povenets.
