The Association of parents with adult children with mental diseases Hope and Health is an NGO that was created by the initiative of parents, who have children with mental diseases. The Association's primary activity is providing free social services to the people with mental diseases.

The main aims of the Hope and Health are to work out at association beneficiaries the necessary skills of self-service in day-to-day life; to teach the people with mental diseases the professional skills in accordance to their development and possibilities; to help the parents to take care of the children.

Volunteers offer their support through a range of personal, social and learning / performing arts activities...

- assisting in the artistic workshops;
- organization of sport and leisure activities;
- offering personal support to the beneficiaries;
- development of the personal workshops.

Working hours will be 4-6 hours/day.

We would give priority to those with interest in social field, highly motivated to dedicate time to persons with mental disabilities. Volunteers have to be patient, empathic, but not regretful. They should be able to handle with the apprentices as equal.
We are open to any skills and abilities, which could be useful for the work - playing instrument, art, sport, handwork, etc.
The project is open to all volunteers who are motivated to work with people with mental disabilities, to be part of our team and to learn a lot of new things.

Chisinau is the capital of Moldova. It is the largest city of the country and its political, administrative, economical and cultural centre. Nowadays the population of Chisinau is more than 700 000 inhabitants. Chisinau is connected to other localities in Moldova and also to other countries. The connection with other localities is accomplished mostly by bus.

There are different types of accommodation...

A room in a host family;
A room in a flat outside the project where 2-6 volunteers live together.

It depends on the availability of places at the time of your application.

Volunteers will receive food allowance.

350 Euro / 4 weeks. 90 Euro for every additional week.
