The main objectives of the Charity Centre for Refugees are to provide cultural, moral and material assistance to refugees and asylum seekers and to help them to integrate in the Moldovan society.
Main Aims and Activities:
Main activities of the Charity Centre for Refugees (CCR) are services to refugees and asylum seekers, so that they could come and discuss their common interests and problems, participate in different events, meetings, seminars, etc.
CCR organises entertaining activities for refugees and asylum seekers and their children like the International Women's Day, the International Children's Day, Refugee Day, New Year party, Christmas. CCR carries out ecological activities with the participation of refugees and asylum seekers. CCR provides Romanian, Russian and English language classes to refugees and asylum seekers and their children. CCR also provides refugee children with a room equipped with furniture and toys. CCR organizes excursions for refugee children and their mothers on the territory of Chisinau city (to museums, zoo, etc.).
Volunteer Tasks & Role:
Volunteers participate in organization of language, computer lessons, outdoor activities, provide personal support to refugees, asylum seekers and their families, run activities for the children, organize different clubs, eg. cooking club, pottery club. Volunteers are expected to work 4-6 hours/day.
Desired Volunteer’s Skills:
Volunteers should be motivated to work in a multi-cultural atmosphere. The volunteer should be able to work independently and to cope with the existing social and cultural differences in Moldova and refugee community. For these reasons, characteristics such as flexibility, adaptability, maturity and personal motivation will be highly desired.

The project aims to provide a temporary home to vulnerable children to those leaving large-scale residential units to family reunification or to be placed with Foster Carers. The placement lasts until the children's reintegration with their biological or extended families. If this is not possible an alternative placement is identified. The main objective is to offer a temporary home to children who are to be reintegrated into their birth family or to be placed in a foster care family;

Volunteer Tasks & Role:
Volunteers’ main tasks are to play with the children, using his/her creativity, assisting the children with their daily needs and responsibilities, read stories and songs in easy language, help to organize outings and to lead excursions with children groups, participate in painting and crafts workshops, participate in theatre and music groups. Volunteers are expected to work 4-6 hours/day.

The main criterion is patience, according to small children and their needs, open heart, kindness and desire to work with children.

Casa Aschiuta aims to provide at risk children, children victims of abuse, violence or trafficking and their families with social assistance, psychological support, reintegration and specialized services.

Volunteer Tasks & Role:
Volunteers support the project personnel in organizing of the leisure time for a group of children, assisting in preparation, organizing and participating in centre’s entertainment and educational projects, assisting children in doing their homework, playing independently, animation of intercultural activities for children through games, songs, discussions, arranging children's out-goings, running educational activities and teaching different skills.
Volunteers are expected to work 4-6 hours/day.

The Association of parents with adult children with mental diseases Hope and Health is an NGO that was created by the initiative of parents, who have children with mental diseases. The Association's primary activity is providing free social services to the people with mental diseases.
Main Aims and Activities:
The main aims of the Hope and Health are to work out at association beneficiaries the necessary skills of self-service in day-to-day life; to teach the people with mental diseases the professional skills in accordance to their development and possibilities; to help the parents to take care of the children.
Volunteer Tasks & Role:
Volunteers offer their support through a range of personal, social and learning / performing arts activities...
- assisting in the artistic workshops; - organization of sport and leisure activities; - offering personal support to the beneficiaries; - development of the personal workshops.
Working hours will be 4-6 hours/day.
Desired Volunteer’s Skills:
We would give priority to those with interest in social field, highly motivated to dedicate time to persons with mental disabilities. Volunteers have to be patient, empathic, but not regretful. They should be able to handle with the apprentices as equal. We are open to any skills and abilities, which could be useful for the work - playing instrument, art, sport, handwork, etc. The project is open to all volunteers who are motivated to work with people with mental disabilities, to be part of our team and to learn a lot of new things.

“Casa Gavroche” (Home of Gavroche) is a shelter for children living on the streets and other categories of children at risk from Chisinau.
Main Aims and Activities:
The Centre is an open and friendly institution that will offer temporary shelter, food, care, schooling and learning activities to children at risk.
Volunteer Tasks & Role:
Volunteers are involved in coaching of the youngsters in the tasks of daily life (cooking, cleaning, hygiene, organization of the meals, shopping), coaching during the spare time (group weekends, evening programme, sports) and supporting youngsters during learning hours. Volunteers will learn to become problem solvers, whether it is basic hairdressing, distributing donated clothing, helping kids with hygiene and table manners. Volunteers are expected to work 4-6 hours/day.
Desired Volunteer’s Skills:
A willingness and ability to work with children is essential. An openness live in a larger community as well as to share daily life with children with a very traumatic background is also important.

Promo-Lex Association is a NGO whose mission is to contribute to development of democracy in Moldova through facilitating the access to the Human Rights protection for the citizens and civil society strengthening Moldova.
Main Aims and Activities:
Promoting democratic values and international standards in human rights area, contributing to development and strengthening of the civil society, promoting civic activism and responsibility. Target group of Promo-lex are vulnerable categories of people, Transnistrian region inhabitants, civil society, youth.
Volunteer Tasks & Role:
Volunteers assisting in writing applications and managing projects:
seminars, study visits, conferences; following European policy developments in the Moldovan youth sector; in compilation of the Promo-Lex newsletter and the updating of the Promo-Lex website; assisting in finding partners and creating new projects in the Europe and the rest of the world, assisting with research projects; managing a clear-cut project in line with his/her skills, personal interests and goals. Volunteers are expected to work 4-6 hours/day.
