Rheder, located on the Nethe River, is a small town located in the rural Weserbergland region. Together with architect Marcel Kalberer and the Smooth Structures group, your team will build a large living structure, which will also serve as a work of art. You will be using natural materials to build a wicker cathedral, and the tasks to build this will include braiding and cutting the wicker, digging graves, erecting the supporting posts, and connecting them. In addition to the larger construction, you will also build a wicker mesh as well as build a wall out of natural stones.

Location & leisure:
There are opportunities to travel to local university towns such as Gottingen, Kassel, and Bielefeld; Hannover and Dusseldorf are also nice day trips. The Weserbergland region is prime for hiking, visiting cloisters, and for visiting projects run by the Erlesene Natur (www.erlesene-Natur.de) group. Your accommodation is located in a very pretty landscape park.
Beside the games in the mud there are activities for the guests and tourists attracted by the event. The idea of this work camp is to invite visitors to an international game without borders . You will be placed on the dyke (which is a kind of stand for the visitors) and you will offer games you know from your country. It should be creative and funny- You will have one week to prepare the games and things you will use for. If you need materials, it can be provided by the municipality. Games should be appropriate for children and adults as well.

Accommodation will be provided in a building of the municipality, presumably in the house of youth . Please bring sleeping bag with you.

Leisure time: Brunsbuttel is part of the coastal region Hamburg and there are lots of opportunities to spend the time. The Wadden Sea as world heritage site, go swimming, making a trip with a boat and visiting a lot of interesting places
The Boenen community is home to a mine head tower, which was once used to convey coal, and is now used to convey culture in the region. It offers lots of space over many stories, where children and youth ages 7-14 can have a wonderful summer camp. The space will be created to express the 5 continents, where the kids can work with, play with, create, and sing about their art and culture. The exhibit will stay until September 9, when a large annual festival will take place to present it to the public. To enrich the trip around the world, please bring game and craft ideas from your home countries. The work times will be Monday-Friday from 10-15:00. Monday will be used to prepare. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday you will work with the kids, and Fridays will be used to reflect, research, and shop.

Boenen is an alive, green community in the eastern part of the Ruhr region. There are countless travel opportunities to the Sauerland, to Dortmund, Munster, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, and Cologne.
