There is a small garden at Vaunières hosting centre where we grow different varieties of plants. In the autumn 2010, we built terraces in order to extend the garden and we also planted some fruit trees. During this workcamp, we are now going to build a permanent greenhouse in order to develop our farming activities over the year and grow plants which would not grow at 1200m high.
This is the first step of a long term project aiming at improving the quality of our meals and developing creative cooking activities with the groups coming on holidays at the center. This workcamp will be supervised by two permanent staff of our organization and one long term volunteer.
