Work:
You will fully participate in the setting up of the festival installation of the scenery, the exhibitions, the equipment, preparation of badges, posters, signposting. One part of your work will be linked to the young public welcome, seating, etc.

In a leisure center with facilities and a kitchen. There will be beds. Bring your sleeping bag. The group will organise teams so that everybody can participate in the cleaning, tidying up, and preparation of the meals do not forget your recipes! PROJECT: It will be, this year, the 11th time that Concordia will organise a camp with the Youth Department of the City of Frontignan. The international volunteers will work with a team of 8 young people from Frontignan who will guide them to discover the region during leisure time. The purpose of the workcamp is to help organising a festival called FIRN which is an international literary festival about crime novels and thrillers.
WORK:
You will help organizing the festival: working on the set design for the artists, greeting the public, helping with public relations/marketing…

For the fifth consecutive year, the association Vir'Volt and its partners organize the Vir'Volt Festival (28-29 June). This is a local intercultural and artistic event aimed at livening up the community, by proposing concerts and animations to trigger meetings and exchanges among people, local and international volunteers and artists.
Work:
For two weeks, volunteers will alternate between a workshop fitting out and making the decorations for the venue with workshops on musical creation in a studio. Thus, volunteers will create together a musical show to be played out during the festival, as well as communicating and promoting the festival in the city through music and theater. They will also be involved in hosting and informing the public during the festival.
Leisure activities :
Volunteers will have the chance to take advantage of the association's camping, of discovering the cultural and natural heritage from the country of the Brie and of the Champagne, as well as being able to attend different entertainment events in the area, such as the concerts in the kiosk, which take place in the town every Sunday throughout the month of June.
Accommodation:
In collective tents (yurts, tipis), on the camping of the association. Participants need to bring along a sleeping bag.

For several years, the city of Riom has organized the festival « My summer in Cerey » every July. The main aim of this event is to offer free activities for those who don't go out on vacations. The organization is very family-friendly, keeping in mind the non-formal education movement values: "meeting" and "sharing". For ten days, sport, recreational and cultural activities will be held by the city of Riom and the local associations. This year, "My summer in Cerey" will take place from July 7th to July 18th. The animations will spread between 2pm and 7pm, followed by a show every two nights. You will fully enjoy this fair and share plenty of meals with the local population.
WORK:
You will start before the festival to help set up the place. You will build wooden sunshades, dry toilets, solar showers and a mini pool. You will also construct pergolas, from kits provided by the carpentry workshop. The decoration, safety signs and information panels will be yours to make. During the festival, you will be in charge of the reception and information desk, and the animation of activities like the zip line, waterball or inflatable attractions, but you don't have to worry, you will be taught how to handle these responsibilities. Lastly, you will help deconstruct the structures after the end of the fair.

Verdelais is a small village situated in the Gironde department, in the heart of the vineyards, where Concordia and its local partner are organizing a workcamp every summer since several years. This year, volunteers will participate to the festivities of Verdelais and Langon:The kermestival "La Vallée" (festival for children and young people). Created in the mid-90s from a few passionate leaders of the community center "La Vallée" of Verdelais, this festival is a crossroad of different projects. Thanks to the contribution and commitment of several networks of artists, professionals and volunteers from around the world (including volunteers from Concordia), "La Vallée" has become a popular meeting appreciated for its quality, its originality, its commitments and especially its human approach.The Atypical Nights. Created in 1992, the Atypical Nights in Langon - festival of international renown - plans to promote cultural diversity by discovering "world music", modern or traditional, rural or urban, acoustic or electric, vocal or instrumental, profane or ritual. Through these songs and their multiple aesthetics, the challenge is the discovery of otherness, awareness of differences, the rejection of racism and intolerance, civic awareness.In Verdelais, living place of the camp, volunteers will have the opportunity to meet very warm and welcoming local people and discover the life in a town of this region, its traditions, customs and history.
WORK:
You will participate to the implementation of these two festivals in logistics (assembly and disassembly: tents, installation of safety barriers, decoration ...) and facilitate workshops on intercultural learning (workshops whose form and content are largely determined during the camp).

Work:
You will be fully involved in the organization of the festival Cultures du Monde (taking place from 18th to 28th of July) creation and installation of decorations, putting up stands and stages, working at bars and catering, welcoming the public, tidying up and cleaning the festival sites. You also will certainly be involved in the design and faciliation of an electronic log book with some local youth. Professionals will help you on this. You will arrive a week before the beginning of the festival in order to discover the site, to meet the numerous local volunteers, and to help to the preparation of this festival. PROJECT: The annual music festival in Blesle celebrates its 13th year of existence. In a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere, about 30 groups and more than 100 artists will be invited to perform in several places for 3 days (from August 15th to 17th). The program is eclectic and open to a wider public: concert, jam-sessions, "musical hiking" and workshops. The volunteers will arrive in advance in order to help with the festival organization and also to reinforce the international dimension of this event. The festival will take place in a particularly charming environment (Blesle is one of the most beautiful villages in France), and one of its objectives will be to raise awareness on issues of sustainable development the visitors.
WORK:
You will participate in different activities together with a group of over local volunteers. You will help with the logistics before and after the festival: setting up and dismantling the stages, welcoming the visitors... You will raise awareness on sustainable development issues like recycling and the use of dry toilets.
ACCOMODATION:
