Bulligny is a small village of Lorraine located on the side of a hill, in the southwest of the district of Meurthe-et-Moselle. Belonging to the chain of the Côtes de Meuse, Bulligny is near the departments of Meuse and Vosges. It is about ten kilometers of Toul, second town of Meurthe-et-Moselle and at around thirty km west of Nancy, the main city of the district. The topography of Bulligny gives it a particular landscape, and floral and agricultural variety which can be cut in four main parts : the plain below, the plateau at the top and between them, the two parts of the slope of the hill : below a quite flat slope and at the top a strong slope. It is on these limestone hills that we find the wineyards producing the Grey of Toul.
