The city is high above sea level, evenings and nights are often fresh and sometimes cold. Bring sweaters and a warm sleeping bag.
You will mainly contribute to the renovation of the inside part of a 35m long schooner. You also can participate to the construction of a single-hull sailboat designed to be used by a person with a disability. Work involve: carpentry/woodworking, painting and interior fittings.

Camping. Tents for 2 will be provided. Please bring your mat and sleeping bag. A collective tent for cooking and other group activities and an old bus transformed into a house will also be available to the group. ARPEJE is located in the middle of the wet docks of the Bacalan district, northern Bordeaux. This city is rich in history and known throughout the world for its wine. Among the planned activities, you will visit the city, famous neighboring chateau and vineyards and sail the Atlantic Ocean!

You will maintain the hold and the route manually by cleaning and weeding the venue of the festival, as it is the only possible way to make it nice and attractive. Helping the town and its people to organize the festival will be an opportunity to meet with the locals and share unforgettable moments with the community.

With the help of a technical facilitator, you will work on the restoration of walking trails, started in 2015. Along the city's fortification walls, you will also work on the restoration of a dry stone wall using traditional masonry techniques.

This year Concordia renews the partnership with the municipality of Villeréal, picturesque village at the heart of Lot and Garonne. This medieval town is a cultural and touristic center. We organize an international work camp in order to contribute at its upkeep and maintenance, as well as to meet its population and to participate to its cultural events.
Work :
You’ll participate to the maintenance of this beautiful village and its surroundings. Supervised by a Concordia Camp Leader and armed with paintbrushes and paints, you’ll give the communal buildings a new life. You’ll also landscape and clean the hiking paths surrounding the village so that tourists and villagers can use it. You might do some masonry as well. Thanks to the multiple tasks demanded, during this work camp you’ll never be bored!
Accommodation and meals:
You will be camping on the rugby field. Tents for 2 will be provided. Please bring your floor mat and your sleeping bag. There will also be a collective tent for cooking and diverse activities and an old bus transformed to house you! You will share collective tasks and prepare meals as a group. You will also have to manage a budget provided by the group facilitators and participate in grocery shopping, favoring healthy and local foods.

Founded during the XIII century, Villeréal hosts 1300 inhabitants. You’ll have the opportunity to dive into its rich history as much as in its beautiful natural environment. At the beginning of the work camp, you’ll participate to the final phase of the Art festival of Villeréal that gather dozens of artists organizing performances, art installations and concerts.
For this first workcamp organized in this locality, you'll participate to clear a plot of one hectare.With the help of the locals, you'll skid dead wood, clear the trees blocking the accesses and suppress the brambles. The local flora will have to be preserved as much as possible.
Accomodation & food:
You will sleep in tents on a municipal land, close to the center of the village. Don't forget to bring your sleeping bag and mat. The kitchen, toilets, showers and the collective living space will be installed near the campsite. A communal room will be at your disposal to shelter in case of bad weather.You will participate in the preparation of the meals by turns. We'll favor the local products and the short supply circuits. Tastings of local specialties may also be organized with local producers.

The municipality of Crottet (1700 inhabitants) is located in the south of Bresse area, in the Ain County, at the border between the Rhône-Alpes and Bourgogne regions, two regions famous for their gastronomy and their wine-making. It is situated close to road and motorway networks, allowing to reach the cities of Macon in 20 minutes, and Lyon in one hour.Bordered by the Saône River, the municipality offers various natural areas from which depart several trails allowing to discover a peaceful and unspoiled region.You will participate to the Intervillage Games and to the Cormoranche Lake celebrations, punctuated by several animations and fireworks. Following the 2015 workcamp, you are going to keep on developing the educational garden of Pont Ste Maxence: you will install display cases for vegetables and flowers and then plant some, create a hotel for insects, build a fence and create a pathway … as well as setting up the first elements in Villeneuve sur Verberie (the display cases for example).
Accomodation & food:
You will be sleeping in tents, with boys and girls separated, in the school of Pont Ste Maxence, where the main part of the work will take place, and you will use the sanitary facilities of the school. Don't forget to bring your sleeping bags!

The workcamp organized this year is environmental: with the support of a landscape advisor, you will take part in the maintenance of the quarry face in accordance with its biodiversity.
