The association of Beaumotte would like to host you in order to deliberate on a sustainable manner of consumption. This workcamp links a concrete work (enlargement of the garden) to manual workshops around cooking and workshops of reflection. How to use natural products stemming from our own garden and from our work in every day cooking? This is the question that we shall arise. Beaumotte Centre hosts all year long different persons in social difficulties and international volunteers with whom you will have the opportunity to work, to live and to exchange. An intercultural exchange at every level! This workcamp requires a sensibility towards environmental issues and good adaptation capacities.

Beaumotte les Montbozon is located 25 km of Vesoul and 30 km of Besançon.
Champigny is a little village with 1500 inhabitants. Proud of its heritage, it has choosen to host international volunteers in order to restore the wash room. The villagers are particularly concerned to give a good time to the volunteers. They will be able to discover the region, and Paris. They are two other workcamps taking place in the region and the volunteers might meet youngsters from all over the world.
Vaunières village is a national and international meeting centre, situated at the level of 1200m. Throughout the whole year, it hosts people from very different social and cultural backgrounds. Every year, international volunteers, families, handicapped people, youngsters coping with social issues or tourists come during their free time to take part in the restoration of the village, to take a holiday or to organize a specific project (theatre plays, seminars).
The objective of the environmental works is to optimize the educational potential of the site and the arrangement and marking of nature paths in the surroundings of the centre. Vaunières is situated in the south Alps of France, in the heart of a beautiful range of mountains. There are many opportunities to organise walks in the mountains and cultural evenings and participate in local events taking place in the villages around.
Situated in the Regional Nature Park of the "Causses du Quercy", the village of Escamps is built around a geological basin, called a "doline". In the past, this "doline" was used for vegetable gardens, wells, and ponds. The municipal team wishes to restore the dry stone walls which used to separate each garden. As international volunteers, you will work on a path edged with these walls. You will raise and renew the walls and cut the shrubs. You will also be invited to take part in the organisation of the local festival on July 17th and 18th.

In the free time, you'll have the opportunity to discover the beautiful surroundings of this very special area, called Causse, with so many hiking paths, and to discover the local curiosities, such as the ancient phosphor mines, and all the small dry stone shepherds' huts. This is a remarkable site at the crossroads of tradition and dynamism, supported by a local team full of energy.
This workcamp is hosted by the community «Pays de l'Ourcq». It is situated in a rural territory, which is appreciated as historical site and esteemed for its natural heritage. Volunteers help to valorise this region by working on the pedestrian paths. Volunteers will have the possibility to work together with the local volunteers. Furthermore, a lot of activites and get-togethers are planned.
After a successful first workamp in 2009, the inhabitants of Jouarre are looking forward to host again international volunteers. Together with some young local volunteers, the group is going to restore the washroom of the village. They will clean and joint the walls. Furthermore, the volunteers will participate at several local get-together. They will also have the possibility to discover the local patrimony and the capital Paris.
The association Citrus is restoring an ancient ruined farm, called "la Mayounelle", to build an international hosting centre in the village of Laguépie, in the very heart of the famous natural site, the Gorges of the Aveyron river. Guided by a landscape architect and a team of dynamic leaders, you'll have to conceive and realize the landscaping of the farm's surroundings.

The leisure time will bring you to discover this beautiful area, through hiking, canoeing on the Aveyron river, and many more surprises.
Following up a prosperous workcamp in 2009, the community of Wissous is looking forward to host another group of international volunteers. The so called "Domaine de Montjean" is an amazing densely wooded park, which has been classified as Natural Heritage. Volunteers will learn to use traditional techniques of masonry. Two days per week, they will meet the children of the local youth club.
