The camp host is a youth workshop located in western Finland. They believe in learning by doing and working together in order to master traditional methods of renovation. The workshop is situated in a old wooden building which needs repairing. There is lots of manual work to be done with the building and surroundings, for example renovating the windows in a traditional way. Also there is an old arboretum surrounding the building. The volunteers will tidy up the arboretum, clear walking paths, look for old plants and assist their chances for survival, generally do various task to improve the environment.
There were two work camps in this place last summer and encouraged by this experience the host would like to invite international volunteers again.
Accommodation:
Accomodation is in a large wooden building where the workshop is situated. There are showers, sauna and mattresses. Volunteers will assist in cooking.

Eura is located in the beautiful southwest Finland, see more www.eura.fi/matkailu/infobr.htm .Nearest town is called Rauma. Eura is about 220 km from Helsinki, and about 100 km from Tampere.
The camp host will organise trips to local sights. There is a beautiful lake nearby so there are possibilities for swimming and fishing, maybe the group would like to do some hiking trips. There are wonderful possibilities to get to know Finnish nature, local culture and rich history of the area.
