MS ActionAid Denmark and the G! festival wants to settle a Workcamp in the village Gøta where the G! Festival is held.The G! Festival has won wide international recognition and has brought many foreign musical names and musical interest to the Faroe Islands (See www.gfestival.com for more information on G! Festival).The main objective of the G! festival is to provide a framework for an exciting, international and diverse music scene in the Faroe Islands, and enhance awareness of Faroese music outside the Faroe Islands. By launching a G! Camp MS ActionAid Denmark and the G! Festival together to focus on cooperation across borders. Danish and Faroese organization where the goal is to engage Faroese and Danish adolescents but also young volunteers from around the world and to work together across cultural boundaries.
Work:
Before the festival starts the work consists mainly of physical work during assembly of the festival area. This work consists of painting, baits, low wooden tables and chairs etc.During the festival, volunteers will continue to help with physical labor, and be wary of the plan and be vigilant.
Requirements:
You do not need any special skills to attend this workcamp, you will only need to be highly motivated to make a effort to fulfill the goal of the workcamp. Therefore we would kindly ask you to attach a motivation letter with your application, in brief telling about you and why you want to go.
