Imastu is a residential school housing over 100 children and young people, aged 5-30, with mental and/or physical disabilities. Over the summer the children have more free time and volunteers are in high demand to amuse the children with games, arts and crafts and excursions. Other responsibilities are based around the day-to-day care of the children within the 5 family groups volunteers will be divided into.

In the school in 2-bed rooms, linen provided.

Imastu is a tiny village in Laane-Virumaa, close to Lahemaa national park and the coast and about 90km East of Tallinn. Nearest town is Tapa, the 'railway junction' of Estonia.

Special requirements:
Volunteers must be highly motivated to work with disabled children and be creative with their communicative skills as most of the children speak only Estonian or Russian.
