Location:

Volunteers will work 7 hours per day in Grabstejn´s park, doing different tasks according to the current needs. These could include cutting, removing and burning invasive vegetation, cleaning and arranging the paths, and construction work. It may also involve some work in the castle itself, such as scraping the walls etc.
Accomodation:
Accommodation will be in the castle itself, equipment and conditions are basic. It is necessary to bring a sleeping bag, light mat and own eating set. Volunteers will cook for themselves. Cooker is available, but shopping and food preparation is volunteer´s responsibility. Shops are in nearby towns, around 30 – 45 min. by walk.
Location:
The Grabstejn castle is situated near a small village of Chotyne, in the north of the Czech Republic. Public transport is rather limited in the area. There is only a local train going to the nearest major town of Liberec. The camp is suitable mainly for people who do not mind long walks and who enjoy nature.
