Volunteers will work on the construction of solar compost toilets and bath complex. They will also get acquainted with some natural building techniques traditional for Bulgaria. Daily work will be up to 6 hours per day. Volunteers will enjoy the bright spring in Kostilkovo, get acquainted with the local cultural heritage and nature. A tour around the Kostilkovo surroundings will be organized. No special skills required but interest in natural building and energy efficiency appreciated.
Accommodation:
Volunteers will be accommodated in the former school of Kostilkovo and/or tents. The conditions are basic, so please bring sleeping bags and a thin mattress. Bringing tents will be also beneficial. Showers and toilets are available. There will be food of different kinds (vegetarian food included). Volunteers will help in food preparation in cooperation with the local cook.

30 km from little town Ivailovgrad, 6 km after the village of Plevun, Haskovo region, Southeast Bulgaria.
Volunteers will work on the construction of a bath complex and its surroundings. Daily work will be up to 6 hours per day. It will include physical work inclusive cleaning up actions, digging mud and canals. There shall be also horticultural arranging of the collective yard. Volunteers will enjoy the natural beauty of Kostilkovo and surrounding villages, get acquainted with the local customs and socialize with local people. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about rural resources in Ivailovgrad municipality. At least one hike to the White river will be organized, maybe a tour with bicycles. No special skills required but interest in rural life appreciated.
