We invite volunteers to give their support to the multiple tasks which will help the school to organize incredible summer camps. The purpose is mainly the exchange between enthusiastic and motivated youngsters in order to share all together our experiences and wishes. There will be two types of tasks: farm work and renovation/construction.During the workcamp, we wish the volunteers to share with us the everyday life of Clerheid School as well as the maintenance of the site, by performing the following tasks:• Take care of the animals (2 horses, 2 donkeys, 2 goats, sheep and chickens),• Prepare the fields, to fix the fences, and various farm works,• Maintain the forest (wood collecting, pruning and storage) and of the 12 hectares of fields (haymaking, cutting "bad weed"…), to construct a dry stone wall, gardening,• To prepare, maintain and renovate various installations, wooden construction…Volunteers will also have the opportunity to visit and work in the Wooden Village which hosts every year hundreds of kids. This enchanting place is the fruit of the work and imagination of generations of kids and activity leaders, and today it extends considerably (more than 20 huts over 2 hectares, a bridge, an amphitheatre, a fence...).Tasks are fairly diversified so that there is something for every taste. The planning of activities will be developed progressively according to the progress of work, the weather, needs of the organisation and wishes of volunteers.
Accomodation & food:
Volunteers will live in a small cottage, with a kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms (2 x 4 beds), as well as in a dormitory with a bathroom. They will share those spaces with volunteers paking part of of Mid-Term project in Cleirheid. Volunteers may also sleep in tents or in a wooden hut of the Wooden Village during one weekend. Please bring your sleeping bag.Volunteers will either take their meals with groups during the camps or cook by themselves in the kitchen at their disposal in the cottage.

Clerheid School is located in a hamlet in the province of Luxembourg, in Wallonia, the French-speaking part of Belgium. The domain is located between 350 and 550 meters of altitude, away from major roads on a crest of the Ardennes. Cleirheid School is isolated and it is not reachable by public transports. The closest town, Marche-en-Famenne, is 30 minutes away by car.
Requirements:
This workcamp is designed for nature lovers who are not afraid of outdoor work in an isolated place. Volunteers should be willing to interact with children as there will be camps and activities with kids organised during the workcamp. There will be very limited access to Internet and a phone in the office of the organisation.In order to preserve conviviality and harmony within the groups, we wish the workcamp to be alcohol-free, as are all of our other activities.A project-related motivation letter is required.

Two different tasks are planned: organisa-tion of leisure activities for the kids (games, sports, DIY workshop…) and the creation and organisation of a final artistic exhibition. The local partner is waiting for your team to come with fresh ideas and to create a show with the residents, you could act, paint, film, dance… You will cre-ate this show all together and do an exhi-bition in the end of project at the Centre Couleurs du Monde.

Accommodation will be provided in the centre. Two bedrooms with 4 single beds (with shower and toilet). Smok-ing and drinking alcohol is strictly forbidden inside the centre.Food will be provided, relax – no cooking! Pork is not cooked in the centre. If you need a specific diet – you are welcome as well, just let us know.

Rendeux is a countryside village that lies in the country's Walloon Region and Luxembourg Province and accounts up to 2,500 inhabitants. The village of Rendeux is located in the valley of the River Ourthe in an area which attracts many visitors both for its natural beauty and for such nearby medieval villages as La Roche-en-Ardenne (11km) and Durbuy (18km). This project requests volunteers with a good level of motivation for its theme and who are prepared to integrate the life of a refugee center. PLEASE NOTE: this project is an ESC Volunteering Team project, please refer to the remarks in order to know the conditions.The volunteers will give a hand and a fresh air to the Centre's animation team – spor-tive or social games, billiard, movie clubs, fitness for women, football tournament, craft etc.To a lesser extent and depending of theWeather forecast, volunteers will take part of some activities as painting inside or out-side maintenance of the park.They will be required to get actively in-volved in the daily life of the Centre. Half of the time will be devoted to proposals of activities for children and adults (according to the population currently present in the Centre).The management team of the centre is very well used to work with volunteers as they have been hosting this workcamp for many years.

Volunteers will be lodged in a common room (dormitory) in a building next to the central one. Showers are acces-sible in a central building.Self catering.Please, be aware that meals are simple. Vegetarian or any other diet should be announced in advance.

Rixensart is located in the Brabant Walloon province, 25 km from Brussels and 7 km from Wavre. The zone is highly urbanised and has all the usual conveniences, Rixensart still keeps its coun-tryside charm but one can feel the proximity of Brussels (40 minutes by train, 20 by car). Refugees Centre is located outside the town centre, but in a walking distance from the famous local lake Genval, cinema, shops, supermarkets, train station.

Alcohol is formally prohibited in the Centre.The volunteers are required to be at least 18 year old and to have basic knowledge of French.Besides, it is necessary to have bases in animation (songs, music, dance, plays…) and to be able to assume respon-sibility for a small group. Be able to listen to others is very important there. This kind of workcamp is a very rich personal and human experience. The Volunteers crew will paint and renovate the buildings where the children are doing activities. They also will work for the maintenance of the park (mowing the lawn, clearing the undergrowth...).
