Two different tasks are waiting for you. Each morning, with the help of technical leader you will do manual outdoor tasks: building of a greenhouse! The afternoons will be dedicated to the organisation of activities for the teenagers (40 afghans boys in between 14 and 17 y.o.) your fresh ideas are welcome too: sports from your own country, games…
Accomodation & food:
Accommodation will be provided in the Centre itself – you will have a dormitory for 8 people (7 volunteers and one campleader) in a building near the central one.Smoking and alcohol drinking inside is strictly forbidden. Food will be provided, relax – no cooking! Pork is not cooked in the centre. If you keep a vegetarian or gluten free diet – you are welcome as well, just let us know.

Barvaux is a small city in the countryside! It's a quiet touristic place. You can find everything there: schools, supermarkets, industries… But still, it is surrounded by woods, fields and small villages where the life rhythm remains rural. The city of Liège is about 50 minutes.

The candidate will have to send a short motivation letter and fill in a specific questionnaire which will be sent after application.
You will have to help in the multiple tasks which will allow the school to organize once again incredible summer camps.The purpose of the workcamp will mostly be about preparing, renovating and securising the wood village which hosts each year hundreds of kids. This enchanting place is the result of the work and imagination of generations of kids and leaders, and today it extends considerably (more than 20 huts over 2 hectares, a bridge, an amphitheater, a fence...).This part of the work will include for instance these tasks :- Reconstruction of the foundation of a wood bridge,- Replacement of worn or damaged boards,- Verification of roofs, walls and floors,- Various wood work.During the workcamp, we would like volunteers to share with us the everyday life of the school and the maintenance of the domain, especially by doing these tasks :- To take care of the animals (a horse, two donkeys, sheeps and chickens),- To prepare the fields and to repare the fences,- Forest maintenance (picking up, and storage of the wood) and of the 12 hectares of field (grassland, stream)- Construction of a dry stone wall.Tasks are enough diverse so that there is something to suit all tastes.

- Volunteers will live in a small cottage, with a kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms (2 x 4 beds), as well as in a dormitory with a bathroom. Bring your sleeping bag.- Volunteers will either take their lunch with groups during the camps or they will cook by themselves in the kitchen at their disposal.

Clerheid's School is located in a hamlet in the province of Luxembourg, in Wallonia, the french speaking part of Belgium. The field of activity is situated between 350 and 550 meters of altitude, away from major roads on a crest of the Ardennes.
Requirements:
The school is a place quite isolated, where there is a few public transport. The closest town, Marche-en-Famenne is at 30 minutes by car.Internet and a phone are limited access in the office of the organisation.A project-related motivation letter is required.

This project is based on a dynamic meeting between the volunteers and the residents of the centre. Each morning, with the help of technical leader, volunteers, young and older residents will work together to paint rooms of a building. Its' also planned to have some outdoor tasks, The afternoon will be dedicated to the organisation of leisures activities with the residents and specially youngsters and kids: sports, crafts, games, treasure hunt, film projection, debate…Feel free to bring your fresh ideas.

Accommodation will be provided in the centre. Volunteers will stay in a common room (dormitory) in a building next to the central one. Showers are accessible in the central building.Meals will be provided by the Centre. Please, be aware that meals are simple. Vegetarian or any other diet should be announced in advance.

Sugny is a very small and isolated village in the south of Belgium nearby the French border. By choosing this workcamp, you decide to live in the nature. All around, there are fields, woods and small villages. But there are plenty of opportunities for entertainment: football fields and basketball playgrounds … During the weekend, and according to the group decisions it will be possible to organise cultural visits and to travel to the biggest Belgian cities.
Requirements:
This project requests volunteers with a good level of motivation for its theme and who are prepared to integrate the life of a refugee centre. We recommend them to a have an idea about the policy concerning refugees in their own country.In order to demonstrate this, we ask the candidate volunteers: -to send a short motivation letter-to answer our specific questionnaire (if you do not have it yet, please ask it to your sending organisation). Mozet is situated 12km away from the capital of Wallonie – Namur (100-thousands inhabitants). Nevertheless, the Domain is well hidden in the countryside and surrounded by charming valleys, forest and typical villages. Mozet is also recognized as one of the most beautiful village of Belgium. The closest train station is 5km away from the castle. Be aware that the Domain is very isolated (no market around).

A lot of outdoor tasks with those partners: re-point channel walls, cut and prune branches, cleaning and repair the old mechanisms of milling, maintenance of the river banks, pick the vegetables…A short study part will be organized by the different organisations in order to introduce properly the local distribution channel and their values to the volunteers.

Be aware that the living conditions are very basic; your team will have two bedrooms on the 1st floor of the mill. The mill is quite old but the bedrooms are salubrious. The hosting organization will provide mats. You'll have dry toilet and one shower for the group.The volunteers will organize a cooking team each day. You'll have the possibility to have organic vegetables from a local producer and you'll cook your bread by yourself with the baker's oven of the village, the nearest shop is about 10km.
Location & leisure:
Lafosse is a very beautiful village but very small and isolated. It could be impossible to move in another city during the week. If you like the birdsongs and noise of the stream, it will be the perfect place for you. The nearest train station is situated at about 20km from there. During the week-end, you will have the opportunity to move from the wild to the civilization ;) by sightseeing for example in Liège, Brussels or Namur…

Assisted by local technical leaders, on the primary school site of Hollogne, volunteer group will realize different manual tasks outside: the project will concern arrangements to improve the greater well-being of the children in play areas: construction of benches, stepped in "arena style", footbridge of observation of a puddle. The tasks will run in a sustainable approach and will be exclusively wooden construction.

With the help of a staff member of the center, the volunteer crew will be involved in three different tasks. Each day, the group will be divided in 2 during the working hours and alternatively, they will take part to:
- Manual tasks:
painting white lines by the roadsides, sanding and painting of picnic table, various outdoor maintenance tasks…;- Creation of "artistic road signs" to invite the driver's visitor to respect the speed limit, these activities will be implemented with the company of the residents;- Participate in an excursion (the place has to be confirmed). Educators, residents and volunteers will go out of the center 2 days during the project, your role will be to take care of the participant during the trip.

Volunteers will stay in bedrooms for two. Shower and toilets will be available on the same floor. On the ground floor, you'll have your private living room that you can use for the evening and free time. The food will be provided by the community. During the fall time, they collect fruits to produce their own fruit juice and marmalade. Thanks to inform us in advance if you have a special diet.

Maredret (25km of bigger cities as Dinant and Namur) is a traditional village; most of the houses are built in stones of the country, extracted during decades of the local quarries. Maredret is a small jewel set in the Molignée's Valley. This region is considered for the beauty of its landscapes and its natural resources. It's very close of the touristic place of Maredsous.
Requirements:
There will be limited Internet access during the camp, available just from time to time. Participation to monastic life (daily mess….) is never compulsory. Obviously, volunteers will be individually free to join some public celebrations in case of wish or personal interest.While promoting this workcamp in a catholic monastery, CBB insists on its pluralist values. This project offers to the volunteers the opportunity to work on a site with high patrimonial and cultural richness. We also see it as a nice opportunity to learn and develop awareness to interfaith dialogue and understanding.It is an alcohol free camp.
