Volunteers will help to manage a spring camp for 50 children with a disadvantaged background, aged from 6 to 12 years old. They will help in the kitchen by preparing meals for the group and will support the social workers in proposing games and leisure activities to the children.

ACCOMMODATION:
In a summer centre, at the seaside. Bring your sleeping bag.
LOCATION:
Volunteers will spend the first two nights in Brussels to meet the team and prepare activities for the children. Afterwards, they will move to the workcamp place, about one hour from Brussels
REMARKS:
An average knowledge of French is required, as activities will be conducted with children…who do not speak any English ;). Spanish is also accepted.
The volunteers will help to organise activities in an outdoor activity centre, which receive around 300 children with a disadvantaged background, aged from 5 to 12 years old. They will support the leading team to create some topics, a big game, to realise shows, support the children and support in an educational way. The work will be in team depending on the age of the children.

SITUATION :
the volunteers will work on this cam where they will work. This place is close to the tramway which goes directly to the centre of Brussels. The volunteers will be able to visit the city during their free time.

REMARKS:
An average knowledge of French is required, as activities will be conducted with children. The children's camp will ended the 27 august around 12h00, so take care you don't buy an early return ticket for the morning!
