This is a CCIVS/UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers Project which aims to promote volunteering on the promotion the value of the central sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long – Hanoi and the importance of preservation activities through voluntary action and non-formal education. To achieve the project’s objectives, a group of international volunteers will work together for at least two weeks.
Volunteers will be expected to participate in some learning activities during the first week. Those activities include an orientation meeting, a tour around the site, and a seminar to exchange their knowledge about the site. After that, volunteers will come to local schools and talk with the students there about what they have learnt.
Work:
Participating in an orientation meeting with an expert and a tour around the site; presenting about what volunteers have learnt about the site after the visit; discussing the ways to promote, protect and conserve this World Heritage site; Preparing and organizing workshops at local schools/colleges.

World Heritage Preservation.
Accommodation:
VPV’s Peace House with modest condition. Shared rooms. Sleeping on floor. Showers and toilets available. Food prepared by volunteers.
Location:
Phu Nhuan District, Ho Chi Minh City.
Terminal:
Tan Son Nhat airport, 15 minutes taxi drive.
Qualifications:
Interest and motivation working with social issues.
Leisure time:
Vietnamese Day, International Day, self-organized city tour and excursions, etc.
Participation Fee:
5,000,000VND (about 170 EURO to be paid in local currency).
