Klongla Temple located at Klonghoikhong Distric near Hat Yai International Airport. This is a rural temple which needs to be renovated.
Aims:

Work:
Volunteers are expected to work in the temple, painting, cleaning, making signs. Work time will be Mon-Fri 8.30-15.00. Free weekends.
Place:
Klongla Temple, Klonghoikhong, Songkhla
Accommodation and Food:
Volunteers are expected to sleep in the temple during the camp. Volunteers can also stay at home stay for few days. There is electricity, an outdoor kitchen with simple gas cooking, simple Thai style toilets and baths. Washing clothes by hand. In the village you will find small shops and a health center. For communication, please do your necessary phone calls and internet mails before the camp starts. In the middle of your stay, you will have the possibility to go to a bigger city where you can find international phones and high speed internet. Everyone will take turns in cooking the food that can be bought at the local market. Don’t worry, the local people will help us. There is a variety of Thai food and some is also not spicy. Just tell us before you come if there is any food you cannot eat.

7,000 Bath to be paid upon arrival. Covers food (Mon-Fri), accommodation, organizational management.
