Thailand is an agricultural country. There are many fresh fruits and food products. But nowadays the country had become more industrial. Many people left the farms, move from country side to the city to work at the factories. To work and live with local people in the farm could help them raise awareness of how important agriculture is. To promote agriculture the local community and school are setting up an example farm, using a new theory agricultural ideas from the King project where everyone can come to learn.
Working:
Volunteers are expected to work in the farm where there are vegetable planting, fruit garden, fish ponds, rice field and rubber plantation. At an example farm, this is the place of the Thai organic farm network where they do the new theory agriculture to teach Thai people to realize the value of ordinary agriculture.
Location:
Ja Nong Village, Jana, Songkhla close to Songkhla lake.
Accomodation:
Stay at the center with dormitory. Rural Area.
Terminal:
Hatyai train station, Hatyai International Airport.
Leisure Activities:
Enjoy dancing and Karaoke party in the raft, Hatyai downtown, Samila Beach Songkhla. Fee 8,000 Bath
