Stone and Water is a non-profit gallery space in An-yang and it holds 2009 SAP; Seoksu Art Festival where about 20~25 artists from around the world participate and create art productions during 3 months using vacant spaces around Seok-Su Market and An-yang River. SAP 2009 will be a local based art project that looks for a new possibility of traditional markets and regional economic communities that have been faded away due to market economy. It also hopes to wake up community movements through new forms of cultural art villages and by restoring small communities that have disappeared in rapid industrialization. Together with MTV volunteers, participants will be involved in various activities related to Seoksu Art Festival. They will assist the artists to prepare festival like installation of art creature, and supporting the promotion. Volunteers will be able to communicate with international artists through joining this project. An-yang is close to Seoul, so volunteers will experience Korean urban culture as well as An-yang local culture. Mt.Gawn-ak and attractive temples located in An-yang are also interesting places to visit.

Flower Village is a natural recreational forest located in Busan city, and loved by citizens as a tracking course. In this natural place, young artists open every year since 2005. After the festival, most of works remain here, still communicate with visitors. This year many artists and citizens are expecting the festival, so it can be unique experience for the volunteers to join this project. Volunteers will mainly assist artists to prepare festival like purchasing materials and installation of art creature, or promotion. It can be special opportunity to communicate with young artists through this project.
