Since 2001 we started to build the Base Camp site of MCE. During the last years we built houses, planted trees and built toilets. This year we are planning to put the next part of investment into the camp, so volunteers will work in the construction of the camp.
Work:
We will work on outdoor facilities of the Base Camp and do some small construction work inside the houses.
Study theme:
Information and know-how on how to improve the Camp's conditions.
Leisure activities:
Cultural exchange program, excursions, etc.
Accommodation:
Ger (Mongolian traditional tent) and in a Youth hostel.
Location:
Ulaanbaatar. One third of the population in the country (2.4 million) live in this capital city. The temperature will be about 15-25 C, but be careful as sometimes weather can change a lot, from sunny to sometimes rainy and windy. Buhug river is located 45 km far from Ulaanbaatar. Beautiful hilly area and real nomadic life.
Travel terminal:
Ulaanbaatar, Chinggis Khaan International airport or International train station of Ulaanbaatar. MCE will provide free pick up service for all volunteers.
Skills required:
To like construction work and simple nomadic life. Mongolian speakers are welcome!

The additional fee of 165 Euro should be paid on your arrival directly.
