Volunteers will playing kids after school and during long vacation. During program, there are spring vacation and summer vacation. KI organize Kids camp. We support it. Vokunteers also support elderly people who stay in KI. Volunteers support their activities (ex. farming and taking a walk etc.). Making a opportunity to communicate Kids and elderly people.

Single room in volunteer house where it takes few minutes from KI. Meals are provided in KI (Vegetarian is available!). No smoking in building.

In a relatively mild climate, originate Hirokawa flows from east to Hosshinzan, have poured into the Chikugo create an elongated basin of the plains in the basin. About 50 km south of Fukuoka city.

Volunteer may be divided into a few groups, help local fisherman and farmers, people damaged by the tsunami such as reclaim, cutting grass and harvesting. We organize some activities for the kids in the temporary houses (ex. global kids camp), organize events in children house and do anything else needed.

Share room of the old temple (basic!) in Rikuzen-takata. When we go to kids event, we will stay at some volunteer house. Cooked by vols. by turn.

South east edge of Iwate prefecture (very near from Miyagi). Forestry, agriculture and fishing are used to be the main industry, but were severely damaged and may take several years to be rehabilitated.
Requirements:
High motivation to work for disaster area and respect to the local culture and way of the local organization! Flexibility to change the work & places by the situations. Motivation letter is required. No person who has carsick.
Local host will organize some "Kids camps". Especially there is Non-programing kids camp for 2 weeks on August. It means participants who joins kids, they make a program by themselves during camp. We will prepare, manage and support Kids camp. We support AKC events for example, Oze (One of famous national park in Japan) nature school, cooking events etc.)
Accomodation & food:
Yamanoie, it means "mountain house". You will have your own room. All basic facilities are provided. There is WIFI here. Volunteers cook by yourself, sometimes you can have dishes with local host. During the camp, cook with kids.

Mountain area, rich nature. About 150 km of Tokyo. 81% of the village is occupied by the forest and there are 5 clean rivers are going through. It is located near Oze national park.
Requirements:
Speaking good Japanese (common language will be Japanese) and strong motivation to communicate with kids, enjoy simple life and respect to the local culture and way of the local organization! Experience of kids camp can be useful!
We will assist to run various types of 3-10 days children's summer camps such as playing with kids, managing safety, food and other stuffs, helping kids to cook, preparing and cleaning the places. We will be separated to each program to work with local staff, so don't expect to be there as a group.

The south edge of Nagano prefecture and 80% of the village land is forests. 40% of 2,000 inhabitants are aged 65 or more. They have rich nature and a lot of fruit farms!
