[First Week] (July 16th- 23th) -Prepare and support 3 days Mishima island camp for local teenagers (Elementary – High school) ※work may be cancelled if the weather is bad or there are short on students applying for the camp-Do some manual work at a local share house in Mine-Intercultural exchange with local community and accelerate communication among Japanese and international members.-Experience ZAZEN meditation at local temple [Second Week] Join summer Program and help Junior high – high school children at Koen Gakuin (July 23th~28th) -As an active teacher assistant, volunteer support many classes such as culture, music, physical exercise, games, craft, cooking and even field trip to give them chances to speak out and enjoy talking in English-Introduce children game from your home country-Play sports and dance with Japanese children -Cook home country cuisine for Japanese children -Each volunteer will be responsible for giving a lecture (a presentation) about home country

[First Week] Volunteers take turns and cook by themselves every day. Fresh rice and vegetables will be provided by a local farmer. A volunteer is expected to eat rice, miso soup, fish, egg, Tofu, beans on a daily basis without any problem[Second Week] Volunteers take turns and cook breakfast and dinner. Volunteers will have school lunch at Hagi Koen

Hagi is located in Yamaguchi prefecture, in the west part of Honshu, the Mainland of Japan, and faces the Sea of Japan. It is a small local city with the population of 55,000. Mishima island is located approximately 44 km from mainland Hagi, it has a population of 800 and Mishima cattle (Japanese native cattle) is registered as a Japanese National Treasure in 1928, and is one of only two remaining breeds of native cattle in the country. Mine is a neighboring city to Hagi and it is 30 minutes away from Shin Yamaguchi Station which is the hub station for bullet train. The camp location is within the area of a mysterious Akiyoshido Cave(秋芳洞) and a beautiful Beppu Benten pond (別府弁天池). They became a popular touristic spot in recent years. A volunteer needs at least 10,000 JPY in cash if she/he wants to go sightseeing on free-day.
Requirements:
1.Volunteers need a strong motivation to be an active member to teach/take care of children during each class at Hagi Koen school. 2.Volunteers will do a presentation of their countries during English class. Please prepare the topic such as your hometown, food, sports, architecture, landmarks, greetings or game. 3.Extra fee 5000 JPY(about 40 EURO). Please pay on arrival. This fee will be used for supporting the accommodation fee 4.A motivation letter (more than 5 sentences long) is required. Please include your interest, motivation, experience and strength of yourself in English or Japanese. Volunteers should bring one white shirt with collar and trousers (either black, navy or beige) for school event. For other days, long sleeve shirt (as well as T-shirt) and long pants, swimwear (for swimming), sneakers, flip-flops, bug protected spray, bath towels, facial towels, toothpaste, brush, shampoo and conditioner, presentation material, seasonings that represent your country (salt, garlic, paste, sauce or pepper)

Participant Youth will get the opportunity to have a business experience in the camp. Youth will visit local business actually exist in Iijima. Youth will make a PR document in English and Japanese for the online sales. Volunteer will help out and live together with 30 Youth (15-18 years) in the camp supporting activities and sharing your business skills.

Local Commuty bulding, Share room and very simple life style. Volunteers stay a Japanese style rooms. Please bring you sleeping bags. Volunteers will prepare the food themselves on the rota basis.

Nagano Prefecture is located basically in the center of Japan and is surrounded on all four sides by 3000-meter tall mountains, earning it the nickname of the "Roof of Japan".

Location & leisure:
Okayama city is the capital city of Okayama Prefecture in the Chūgoku region of Japan. Although the accommodation is located in rural area, it is very comfortable to live as it is not as busy as other metropolitan cities. It is also accessible to Shikoku, Sanyo and Kansai area. Those for who want to explore those areas can visit there after the project. You will be able to have experience modern Japanese culture through interaction with local people. They give a friendly welcome to you. Okayama is very safe area and really nice place to stay.
Requirements:
A motivation letter (more than 10 sentences long) is required. Please include your interest, motivation, experience and strength of yourself in English or Japanese. Volunteer should bring clothes suitable for the work, shoes, hat/cap, bug protected spray, medicine for insect bites, cold and painkiller, bath towels, facial towels, toothpaste, brush, shampoo and conditioner, seasonings that represent your country (salt, garlic, paste, sauce or pepper) Also please bring some English textbooks you used in junior high school or high school of your country. A credit card may not be useless in this area. Please prepare at least 30,000 JPY if you want to go sightseeing during free-day.
Volunteers will visit the elementary (age 6-12) / junior high (age 12-15) schools to run the English speaking classes and to organize inter-cultural exchange of play, music and dance of the world. Volunteers will also continue the last year's work to create and maintain the trail as well as walking around the area with taking pictures and having interviews to the local people.

Shinko district is located in the south west of Nagano city which is located in the noth east of Nagano prefecture. The climate is colder than low land, so even in summer, it may be cool in the evening and morning. Rice and apples farming is the main industry.
Requirements:
High motivation to work with kids. Similar types of experience and Japanese speaking skill are welcome! Volunteers need to accept and enjoy vegan food.
NICE will organize the Kids camp and run this program with volunteers from around the world. As your task, playing and living together with the children and supporting them when necessary all day! Volunteers will also provide the international games for them too. You have chance to show your culture, music, dance and games for the children. Please bring a lot of ideas about songs, games and dance like you can play with the children. and enjoy Halloween with the children!

South east edge of Iwate prefecture. Forestry, agriculture and fishing are used to be the main industry though they were severely damaged and may take several years to be rehabilitated.

Need High motivation to work for disaster area and respect to the local culture and way of the local organization! Motivation letter is required. Person who do not have any criminal or sexual or physical abuse record! During the kids camp(1night 2days), non smoking and non alcohol.

The inland valley of Kumamoto has four distinct seasons and experiences a wide range of temperatures throughout the year. The region receives high levels of rainfall in June during the rainy season and because of the plentiful spring water that accumulates in the aquifers around Aso, Kumamoto is known around the world for supplying its 670,000 citizens with the water they need to conduct their daily lives. Agricultural, fishery and IC industries also thrive thanks to these natural water sources.

« I had not appreciated that so few people come out in the East Asian countries that my telling them was something extraordinary. This was also the most interesting aspect of the workcamp in terms of trying to expand the awareness of other ways of living, and there was never any hostility or problems because of it. »
