Volunteers will help set up a festival for the local children organised by Kodomo Art, an organisation which uses art activities and theatre to promote global understanding, friendship and solidarity among local youth and children. Volunteers will help prepare and promote the festival in the kindergarten and the nursery schools. Volunteers will also organise activities for the children during the festival.

Unique art festivals in volunteers countries. Volunteers should bring information with them.
Accomodation:
In a local house. Sleeping bag required.
Location:
A small town in the mountains, 60 km south of Fukuoka.
Terminal:
Fukuoka (1.5 hours by bus). From Osaka, 5 hours by bullet train or 12 hours by overnight bus
Special requirements:
Volunteers should be interested in art and in working with kids. The team will be made up of 5 international and 5 Japanese volunteers.
