Mfuwe is located in the south Luangwa National Park area East of Zambia. It is about 685 Km away from the capital city Lusaka and 100 Km from the provincial capital Chipata. It is 25 kilometers from the park main entrance. Mfuwe is one of the busiest destinations for tourists coming to Zambia and has the best animals in the world!

Qualifications:
The volunteers should have skills on the above mentioned subjects. They should be flexible and open minded and to be willing to reach out and inspire hope where there might be none.
Accommodation/Food:
The volunteers will be accommodated in a home stay where he or she shall have a chance to interact with the African family and have a cultural exchange experience. The food provided shall be what is locally available and if the volunteers want anything outside of these they shall have to provide for themselves. A volunteer with justified reasons may be allowed to arrange a separate basic accommodation at their cost but must be within the community.
Duration:
The volunteers have a chance to be in the placement for 3 months or more.
The Youth Association of Zambia (YAZ) is a Non-Profit making youthorganization whose objective is to improve the living standards of the youth and children in Zambia. It was founded on 11 May 1994. YAZ provides capacity building for youth organizations and groups in organisational development, strategic planning, human resources development, project management and advocacy based on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The organization involves young people in the activity implementation in order to contribute in making a difference in the community and as well as contributing to personal growth and national development through work and study camps and volunteering.
The interested volunteer should possess skills in the fields of Workcamp preparation, Fundraising, ICT, micro-finance management and facilitation skills. The volunteer will also be expected to participate in the day to day activities of the organisation. They should be ready to work under a lot of pressure. The volunteer should be conversant with the following programs: ·Voluntary Study and Workcamps ·HIV awareness and counseling ·Children Rights and Protection ·Civic education ·Organization Development for Youth NGOs ·Gender Awareness and Development ·Local and International Youth Exchange Programmes
Location:
The organisation is located in the city centre of Lusaka the capital city of Zambia. The town is divided into four districts namely Lusaka, Kafue, Luangwa and Chongwe. The city has all the facilities such as banking, good communication, road network, good hospitals. Most of the area has electricity and running water and the people are self sufficient.
Experience and qualifications:
Skills of the volunteer expected by the hosting project are good interpersonal skills, facilitation skills, conflict resolution skills, report writing and documentation skills, team building skills, equal opportunity practice, project management skills, fundraising skills, capable of advertising Zambian work camps and placing international volunteers.

Hosting Costs:
