Ayeldo is a farming community of about 5000 inhabitants located about 4 kilometres from Abura Dunkwa, the district capital of Abura-Aseibu-Kwamankese District in the Central region of Ghana.
Project:
The work would involve helping the community to construct an ICT Centre for the school kids and teenagers. Volunteers are expected to undertake hard manual work including the digging of trenches for the foundations of the building, mixing of concrete, moulding blocks and carting them for constructing the building.
Accommodation:
Volunteers would live in selected houses provided within the community.
Participation Fee:
A participation fee of two hundred and fifty Euros (€250) is paid when attending only one workcamp and an additional two hundred Euros (€200) for each additional workcamp.
The fee is used for pick-up from the airport, hostel accommodation, administration costs and feeding at the workcamp.
Akyem Prankese is a farming community of about 8000 inhabitants located in the Kwaebibirim District in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The community owns a building designated as residence of the traditional ruler. The palace has deteriorated over the years and therefore not conducive for human habitation.
Project:
The project is rehabilitation of the community palace. The work would involve digging trenches, moulding and carrying blocks and mortar for the construction and renovation.
Accommodation:
Volunteers would be accommodated in selected houses within the community.

Abira is a farming community of about 5000 inhabitants in the Kwabre East District in the Ashanti Region, central Ghana. It is about 8 kilometres from Kumasi, the regional capital and the second largest city in Ghana.
Project:
The project is the construction of a one storey school building with the pillars of the ground floor already erected. Volunteers would cart blocks and mortar for raising the walls of the building.
Accommodation:
Volunteers would be accommodated in a school within the community.

Sumbrungu-Azorebisi is a farming community of about 5000 inhabitants in the Bolgatanga Municipality in the Upper-East Region. The project was started in 2009 and is built up to lintel level. It was abandoned by the community due to lack of funds. When completed, the facility would be used as a Craft Centre for the community to produce baskets and other handicrafts that would bring income to the people.
Project:
Volunteers would assist by carrying blocks, mortar and other materials for the construction.
Accommodation:
This would be basic in the only local primary school in the community.

Osorase is a farming community of about 5000 inhabitants located in the forest. It is in the Birim North District in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Project:
The project is a health facility being constructed by the District Assembly. The foundations have already been laid and the work is ongoing.
Accommodation:
Volunteers would be accommodated in selected houses within the community.
